We offer innovative drone training programs tailored for the Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) Industry. Our UAS training integrates time-honored aviation practices with modern UAS technology and aligns with International Standards. This provides students with industry-recognized, third-party validated certifications, effectively preparing them for workforce development.

Our courses in drone training and UAS training are taught by experienced flight instructors, including full-time remote drone pilots and professionals with hundreds of hours of flight time. This ensures effective workforce development for aspiring pilots.

Dawnyle, a seasoned educator and career services practitioner, brings over 17 years of dynamic experience in education and the non-profit sectors. Her journey has been marked by a commitment to transformative education, executive coaching, career counseling, and leadership training, including specialized areas that are essential for modern workforce development.
Throughout her career, Dawnyle has demonstrated a passion for reimagining education and fostering sustainable systems. With a focus on unlearning the systematic oppressive foundations of education, she has embraced real transformation by integrating innovative approaches into the educational system to enhance workforce development.

Todd oversees the company’s business strategy and operational processes, bringing a collaborative and results-driven approach to leadership. He is responsible for developing an inclusive strategic plan in partnership with the board of directors, CEO, and leadership team, with a strong focus on advancing workforce development initiatives.
With more than 35 years of experience in the hospitality industry and entrepreneurial ventures, Todd is a seasoned executive leader with a proven track record across sales, marketing, and senior-level management. Throughout his distinguished career, he has successfully led diverse teams, driven revenue growth, and elevated client experiences in highly competitive markets.
Since joining Safala Inc., Todd has taken on roles of increasing responsibility, demonstrating a deep understanding of the organization and a consistent commitment to achieving measurable results. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and Operations Management from Penn Foster University.

Lea brings years of experience in operational leadership to Safala, where she spearheads the design and implementation of the organization's core processes.
A project management professional, her leadership spans strategic planning, budgeting, and information management, ensuring that every internal function aligns with Safala’s broader mission. Partnering closely with the CSO, Lea develops the business plans and performance frameworks that drive the organization’s most critical initiatives. A specialist in operations coordination, Lea offers a unique consultative approach. She works alongside educational leaders and administrative staff to navigate complex design standards and safety guidelines, always with an eye toward correcting systemic inequities for BIPOC students and youth. Her work ensures that operational excellence is never detached from the goal of social equity. With a creative approach to process improvement.
Lea is a graduate of the University of the Arts Philadelphia, PA. Lea also holds a certification in Culture, Communication, and Conflict from the National Conflict Resolution Center and has completed a certificate program at the National Theater Conservatory in Denver, CO. A lifelong learner, she is also actively pursuing Spanish language acquisition to enhance her professional development and better serve diverse communities.

Savannah is responsible for overseeing the academic and operational aspects of the organization, including the development of our innovative drone training and UAS training programs. She plays a key role in implementing educational policies and strategies that ensure the overall effectiveness and success of the organization.
Savannah Sanburg acquired a Master’s degree in Social Justice from the University of Colorado Denver in the Fall of 2015. She has served as an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of Colorado (Boulder campus), University of Colorado (Denver campus), and the Community College of Aurora. With an interdisciplinary resume, Savannah teaches subjects that include Freshman Composition, Public Speaking, Introduction to Ethnic Studies, Global Media, African-American History, Foundations of Ethnicity in America and US Popular Culture, Introduction to Africana Studies, Contemporary Asian-American Studies, Interpersonal Communication, Intercultural Communication, Organizational Communication, and Global Media. Savannah earned a B.S. in Speech Communication with a concentration in Rhetoric and Public Address from Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2013, alongside a B.S. in Consumer Sciences from Colorado State University in 1998. In addition to her teaching portfolio, Savannah worked with the OU Speaking Bobcats under the direction of Dan West while pursuing her Ph.D. at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. She has been active in the Forensics circuit since 1995, achieving success as an Interp Finalist in both Regional and National Tournaments. Currently, Savannah is an Associate Professor of Communication & Arts in Garden City, Kansas.

Meeka Houston has extensive experience in community resources, program design and implementation, human behavior, state and county programs, coaching, data tracking, leadership, responsiveness, and rapid turnaround. She is a firm believer in holistically approaching problems from multiple angles by being proactive, deliberate, and thorough. She is a subject-matter expert in building rapport, community relations, and partnerships. Meeka has decades of experience in human services, including case management, program management, eligibility, mentoring, trauma-informed care, serving justice-involved individuals, and serving the most vulnerable.
Meeka is known in the community for getting things done. A native of California, she is looking forward to continuing her service to help those who need support. She has extensive experience in operational compliance, supervision, developing and facilitating orientations, process improvement, training, meeting deadlines, and presenting to groups and stakeholders. Providing a safe and stable environment where people can thrive has been her lifelong goal.
